Do I need to purchase equipment and supplies?
You can choose whether to purchase your own consumable cleaning products or we can purchase the products for you. Consumable products include surface cleaner, floor cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, glass cleaner, wood polish, paper towels, trash bags, etc.
If you purchase your own products, we'll help keep an eye on product inventory and let you know when supplies are low. If you have us provide this service, we will add a monthly surcharge to your invoice to cover the cost of the products and the service provided.
We provide our own equipment (mop bucket, vacuum, etc.). We'll need a space to keep these at your business.
Will I have the same cleaner every time?
Mel is owner-operator of this business, so when you hire Mel's Cleaning and Janitorial Services, you get Mel. He takes on only what he can manage. If the job is for a larger client and it requires an assistant, Mel works on-site alongside that person.
Mel has an extremely reliable track record, and we'll be happy to provide references who can attest to this. If we should ever need to reschedule your usual service, we will give you as much advance notice as possible and you can choose how you want to reschedule.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
Prior to our first service visit, we will confirm your start date, schedule, cost of services, and anything else we think you need to know.
How do you bill us?
We will email you an invoice on the 20th of each month. Payment is due by the 5th of the next month.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept checks, PayPal, Venmo, and cash. Sorry, we do not accept credit card payment.
How do I get started?
It all begins with a free, no obligation consultation. We prefer to schedule this on-site for a walk-through of your facility so we can see your space and understand what you need from us.
